Angeline Woo, B. 1978, works and lives in Los Angeles
FIDM, UC Irvine
Through subtle abstractions, visual artist Angeline Woo’s photographs play with themes of existence and subversion. Exploring the in-between moments, the slices of time that are usually discarded, Woo draws the viewer voyeuristically into unfolding stories. Her images often convey an emotional honesty or a sense of whimsy, and the majority are self-portraits.
