Entitled “NON-LIEUX” this series of pictures borrows its name to the neologism of the anthropologist and ethnologist Marc Augé. Indeed, it defines the dismissal as “an interchangeable space where the human remains anonymous.” Thus, the situations presented, yet familiar, then become difficult to locate in space and time.
Fully realized with analog films, these photographs are part of a process where time becomes important. Each photography – often resulting from long wanderings – then made the subject of special attention, both in framing and in the choice of spaces. And of those places that usually go unnoticed, finally radiates a unique atmosphere.
